ASDA lodges plans for Ardrossan petrol station

A new petrol station could be in store for Ardrossan after ASDA applied for planning permission on Harbour Street.

The supermarket giant applied to North Ayrshire Council's Planning Department after withdrawing a proposal for similar plans.

The company intend to build a four-pump fully automated petrol filling station with two manual jet washes at the site of the existing car park.

ASDA withdrew their initial plans after concerns that there would not be enough car parking space.
