Dead bird mystery at Ardrossan Marina

A creepy scene reminiscent of a Hitchcock manifested at Ardrossan Marina – flocks of dead birds.

According to a report, the carcasses were found scattered across the marina and the mysterious incident is believed to have had something to do with the recent stormy weather.

Local resident, Sharon Smith, described how starlings have often been seen performing large synchronised displays before coming down to roost in the metal stairs near the large oil tanks at the marina.
