North Ayrshire Council have said that there are no current plans to close Whitlees Community Centre, moving to allay fears that the venue could be a victim of cuts.

Looking to get together with other local people, and make use of a real community facility? The come along to the cafe in the Whitlees Centre on Carrick Place.
The cafe is open every day except Sunday from 9am to 1pm, and snacks of all kinds are available, along with homemade soup during the week. Breakfasts, hot and cold rolls, sweets, crisps, drinks etc including tea and coffee are on offer at very reasonable prices.
