You can have your say on the plans for the transformation of Ardrossan's waterfront at a special public meeting being held in the town.

Irvine Bay Development Company is running the events on Wednesday 8th September at the Michael Lynch Centre, Ardrossan, to give the local community the chance to put their views on the £70m development at Ardrossan North Shore.

The lunchtime event will be from12.30pm to 1pm (open from midday), with an early evening event 6pm to 6.30pm (open from 5.30pm).

You can see a new short film about the plans here on the Irvine Bay website. In the film Patrick Wiggins, Chief Executive at Irvine Bay, explains the vision for Ardrossan North Shore.

Working with joint venture partner Peel, plans are coming together to develop this key site on the waterfront - business space, leisure and retail facilities, homes and an extended marina - to create a new area of the town.
