Help make Ardrossan a Fair Trade town

A public meeting will be held in the community centre to help make Ardrossan a Fair Trade town.

The Scottish Fair Trade Forum will be hosting the event, where everyone is welcome. They will be telling more about what is involved in becoming a Fair Trade town and will help establish a community group that will lead the process.

A spokesperson for The Scottish Fair Trade Forum said: “Every member of the community with an interest in Fair Trade is very welcome to attend.

"It doesn't matter whether you know lots about Fair Trade or not and whether you're representing an organisation or coming as an individual - everyone can play part in this campaign.”

If you would like to get involved or find out more, but you are unable to attend this meeting, email helen.rothwell@sftf.org.uk.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 7-8pm, at the Whitlees Community Centre, Carrick Place.
