Members elected to serve Ardrossan on North Ayrshire Council

  • Voters in Ardrossan went to the polls on Thursday 3rd May

Voters in Ardrossan took the chance to have their say on local issues this week, to elect new local representatives to serve on North Ayrshire Council as Scotland went to the polls in local elections.

After all the votes had been counted, the following candidates were elected to serve as councillors for the Ardrossan and Arran ward for the next five years.

John Bruce – SNP
Tony Gurney – SNP
John Hunter – Independent
Peter McNamara - Labour

The full results for all wards are still being confirmed at the time of writing, but you can find vote totals, and the final make up of the council here on the North Ayrshire Council website.
