See council work first-hand as Committee comes to Ardrossan
18 AugustEver wanted to see the council works at first hand? People in Ardrossan are being invited to see how North Ayrshire Council works when the Scrutiny Committee meets in town later this month.
The Committee of ten Councillors will hold its next meeting at the Ardrossan Civic Centre on Monday 30th August, instead of the usual venue of Cunninghame House, Irvine.
The committee is monitors performance, reviewing the standard of services and considers budgetary matters.
Secondary school pupils from the Three Towns area have already been invited along to the meeting in Ardrossan to see how the Committee works. Other local people are also being encouraged to attend.
