Star Rachel set to dance her way to fame

  • Rachael will set out on the road to fame at a prestigious London dance school

An Ardrossan youngster is set to dance her way to stardom after she was selected to join a prestigious London school of dance.

Rachael Lamberton (17) has just completed six years of studying at the Dance School of Scotland, which is part of Glasgow's Knightswood Secondary School. And her dreams come true when she was accepted into the London Studio Centre where she will work towards a BA (Hons) degree in Theatre Dance.

She will start out taking classes in classical ballet, contemporary dance, jazz theatre dance and musical theatre before later specialising in one form - most likely jazz.
